Times are tough – but it is still possible to make the planet a better place AND take care of your bottom-line. In this series of brown-bag lunches, Full Circle Consulting, a collaborative of consultants with expertise in a broad range of sustainability-related topics, have joined to bring you tools and resources for making your nonprofit or business more environmentally sustainable, socially responsible, and economically profitable. Each session will include practical tools, a case study, and the opportunity to apply it to your own organization. Participants will be eligible to apply for Green MBA greening assistance, and priority will be given to those who sign up for all five sessions.

  • Session 1 – Thursday, October 8: Sustainability 101
What is sustainability? And how do we know if our actions are sustainable or not?
  • Session 2 – Thursday, October 22: Greening your Business or Nonprofit on a Shoe String
Save money, tap into free local resources that can help your organization with energy and water efficiency
  • Session 3 – Thursday, November 5: Building Social Sustainability
Everyone talks about being socially responsible – but what is it, really, and how do our organizations leverage it for good in our own communities?
  • Session 4 – Thursday, November 19: Best Practices for Leading Organizational Change
Learn how to engage your entire organization: employees, vendors, customers, even your boss in change for sustainability.
  • Session 5 – Thursday, December 3: Tying it All Together: Integrating Sustainability, Change & Leadership into your Organization
Bring all your questions for a panel of experts and local business leaders to learn about how you can take your business or nonprofit to new heights.

Presenters from Full Circle Consulting include: Susan Briski, Sustainable Progress Consulting; Robert Girling, PhD Professor, Sonoma State University; Carrie Hays, The Halle Group; Genevieve Taylor, Associate Global Genesis; Terry Taylor, CEO, Global Genesis; and others.
